Rory is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about helping people achieve optimal health through exercise and lifestyle change programs.

Rory’s goal is to enable his clients to enjoy the long-term benefits of healthy aging, allowing them to stay fit, balanced, and happy.
Rory completed an Undergraduate Degree in Exercise and Sports Science at Deakin University in 2008 and completed a Masters of Applied Exercise Science (Exercise Prescription) at ACU in 2010.
Since graduating Rory has been working in private practice for over 10 years and has gained valuable experience in working with a wide range of people with different health issues and goals.
Rory has worked alongside many General Practitioners and Specialists including Cardiologists to help empower clients to achieve better health and lifestyle outcomes. Rory also enjoys working with Physiotherapists and Osteopaths to find the right solution for his client’s goals.
Rory believes in listening to each client's needs and working with them to find the correct approach to their exercise and lifestyle programs. There isn’t a one size fits all approach to the human body and Rory consults closely with each individual to discover the exact intervention they may require.
Helping clients physically achieve things they didn’t think they could do is the part of his work that Rory enjoys the most and he is always excited to help new clients activate their optimal health.
Jack completed an Undergraduate Degree in Human Movement in 2010 and a Masters in Exercise Physiology in 2013 at Australian Catholic University. In 2011, Jack worked closely with the North Melbourne Football Club, leading a program that specialised in improving tackling methods and injury prevention.
Since graduating, Jack has built up a vast experience base in musculoskeletal conditions, cardiac rehabilitation, oncology support and neurological disorders.
Jack is also passionate about helping clients build muscle mass and strength across their lifespan. When he isn't working, Jack enjoys playing Lacrosse, going to the movies and painting.
Nathaniel graduated with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University in 2020 and has over 3 years of experience working 1-on-1 with clientele as a Personal Trainer and Exercise Physiologist. Nathaniel has a passion for physical activity as a way of life and for implementing up-to-date, evidence-based exercise interventions as a means for preventing and managing chronic health conditions, to achieve optimal physical, mental, and social well-being.

Nathaniel believes in forming positive relationships with his clients in order to inspire lifestyle change and motivate them to reach their health goals.
Following his 3 years of experience working in the field, Nathaniel has now taken the next step as a Director and Exercise Physiologist at Activate Exercise Physiology, with the goal of building on what he’s learnt, to create a positive, passionate, and comfortable environment in which clients can thrive.
Janine is a Speech Pathologist with almost 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents. Since graduating from her Masters of Speech Pathology (University of Melbourne), Janine has worked for the Department of Education and Training as well as individual state schools in the Barwon region, providing speech pathology services. Janine has collaborated with families, children and school leadership and staff to assess, diagnose and treat speech and language concerns as well as develop and implement programs to assist in the early identification of students with additional communication needs.
Janine is passionate about listening to the experiences of her clients and working together to create positive outcomes. She has a special interest in early intervention and literacy development.
Quinton is an accredited exercise physiologist and graduated from his Masters in clinical exercise science and rehabilitation at Victoria University in 2022. Quinton combines his personal training experience, coaching in ITF Taekwon-do, and passion for helping others to improve people's overall health and well-being.
Quinton works to empower people, helping them to discover their goals and eventually achieve them through evidence-based interventions, education, and overcoming barriers.
Outside of helping activate people's health, Quinton enjoys practising various martial arts and going for walks with his two miniature schnauzers.
Paula completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University in 2023. She is also a Certified Practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. Paula has a wide variety of Speech Pathology experiences in numerous settings such as paediatric clinics, hospitals, and working in the community with adults in rehabilitation.
Paula is passionate about working with children and their families to achieve positive outcomes through evidence-based interventions. She has an interest in paediatric speech, language, fluency and literacy skills. Paula also enjoys working holistically with autistic people and their families to build on their communication and social skills.
Paula is a keen learner and loves to continuously expand her knowledge through professional development.
Olivia graduated from a Master's Degree of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Australian Catholic University and has multiple years' experience as an Exercise Scientist running group exercise sessions which are a fun, creative and sociable way for clients to exercise.
Olivia strongly believes in implementing exercise in holistic nature that is right for each individual with the goal to form life-long exercise habits. Olivia is passionate about implementing evidence-based exercise interventions to help support their clients towards their health and fitness goals in the best possible way, as well as educating others about exercise and its benefits.
Olivia enjoys using exercise treatment to help a range of clients improve their health status including those with cardiovascular, respiratory/pulmonary, metabolic, musculoskeletal, neurological and mental health conditions, or those that want to exercise for health and longevity.
Eleni is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Strength and Conditioning coach with a passion in helping people strive for a healthier quality of life through exercise, with the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries. Eleni completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2015 and Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2017 at Deakin University. With over 8-years’ experience in the health and fitness industry, Eleni has worked within private practice assisting people of all ages to achieve their individual health goals, including:
· Cardiovascular disease management
· Diabetes management
· Musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation
· Pre- and post- joint replacement rehabilitation
· Improving functional movement and strength
With an interest in AFL, Eleni has worked with a broad range of amateur and elite athletes at Knox Falcons FC and Oakleigh Chargers FC. Managing strength and conditioning and rehabilitation programs focusing on the fundamentals of movements such as improving movement patterns, running technique, landing mechanics, stability, strength and power. Currently working at Melbourne FC as a sports trainer Eleni gets the opportunity to work alongside sports Doctors, physiotherapists, myotherapists and dietitians.
With Eleni’s enthusiastic and caring nature, she always aims to produce safe and effective individualised exercise programs for each of her clients and provides long-term strategies to keep them motivated and active.
Anthony, who commonly goes as Anton, is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist specialising in high performance, sporting injuries and musculoskeletal rehab. Anton has worked with athletes of all levels, including youth and amateur athletes, all the way to elite athletes in the AFL, A-League, Socceroos, NBL and the NCAA collegiate system.
Being a competitive sprinter himself, Anton understands the importance of building a strong and resilient body to take on his sporting demands. His dedication and passion towards sports science and understanding the musculoskeletal system allows him to successfully achieve rehabilitation goals, and ultimately improve performance through usage of current best practice and innovation of modern sports science.
Anton completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of South Australia in 2018 and a Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Charles Sturt University in 2022. Anton was born and raised in Adelaide and now lives in Melbourne to continue his journey as an Exercise Physiologist at Activate.
Outside of work and sprinting, Anton is a keen car enthusiast and loves NFL, particularly College Football, having also played gridiron for six seasons.
Nadunie completed her undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science in 2021. Driven by her desire to make a meaningful impact on the clinical population, she continued her educational journey by pursuing a Masters's in Exercise Physiology at Deakin University, which she successfully completed in 2023.
Since obtaining her undergraduate degree, Nadunie has been actively engaged in strength and conditioning coaching. Her work includes conducting both group classes and individual sessions, where she works closely with her clients to help them achieve their fitness goals. Her expertise extends to working with various pathologies and not limited to musculoskeletal conditions, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular health, neurological conditions, and pain management.
As a practitioner, Nadunie is committed to empowering her clients to lead healthier lives and improve their overall quality of life. She addresses client barriers and obstacles together, she fosters a holistic approach to health management, empowering her clients to overcome challenges and achieve long-term success. With Nadunie’s companionate approach, she is dedicated to helping you reach your full potential and create lasting positive change in your life.
Aislinn graduated with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University with a passion for exercise being used for the management of a range of health conditions.
Aislinn’s welcoming nature and enthusiasm with her clients creates encouraging environments, facilitating internal motivation for long-lasting behaviour change and exercise habits. She creates enjoyable sessions that are individualised for her clients to help smash their goals.
Aislinn has experience working with children and their families to implement fun and engaging sessions to optimise the child’s function. She also has a strong interest in working with neurological conditions, cancers and musculoskeletal rehabilitation to improve her client’s functional capacity and quality of life.
Outside of clinical practice, Aislinn loves trying out new coffee shops, socialising with her friends or visiting her family in country New South Wales.
Rebecca is a highly experienced senior occupational therapist with over 14 years of clinical expertise in supporting individuals to improve their functional independence and quality of life. Specialising in aged and community reablement, Rebecca is dedicated to helping clients regain their ability to perform essential activities of daily
living.
Rebecca has experience in major home modifications, seating systems, ergonomics, pressure area management, assistive technology prescription for independence, and facilitation of activities of daily living that are meaningful and significant to the individual. She has a strong foundation of assessing and addressing physical, cognitive and environmental factors, then tailoring interventions to improve function
and wellbeing.
Rebecca is client-focused and passionate about supporting members of the community in achieving their goals. She believes in advocacy, accessibility and inclusion for all community members.
Adele holds a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a Master's in Clinical Exercise Physiology. With over five years of experience in the Allied Health industry, she has built an impressive resume.
Previously, Adele worked as an Accredited Exercise Scientist/Personal Trainer, group fitness instructor, and Allied Health Assistant in private practices, public gyms, and hospital settings. Currently in her third year as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, she has developed rich experience and skill working with clients of all ages and conditions.
Adele has specialised for over two years in working with clients with traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. She also has a keen interest in Women's Health, including prenatal and postnatal care. Adele is particularly passionate about supporting the Neurodivergent community, especially Neurodivergent children. She maintains a neuro-affirming, strengths-based approach with all her clients.
Her experience in the Neurodivergent Paediatric space has expanded her knowledge of developmental delay and primitive reflex therapy. This has enhanced her ability to incorporate sensory support and self-regulation strategies into her exercise interventions.
Adele is LGBTQIA+ friendly, and her most valued skill is her compassion and ability to connect with her clients.
Brent holds a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science (Sports Practice) and a Master's degree in Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation from Victoria University.
He has developed strong knowledge in ankle and shoulder health and rehabilitation. Additionally, Brent has extensive experience working with the neurodiverse community, promoting increased education around neurodiversity-affirming practices.
Brent's philosophy is "Know better to do better". He employs evidence-based and strength-based practices to promote a greater sense of empowerment in individuals, enabling them to lead healthier, happier lives.
Outside of Activate, Brent enjoys playing field hockey, visiting markets, and watching sports, particularly AFL and cricket.
Angus is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist having graduated with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology from Deakin University in 2024. Throughout the duration of his studies and through clinical placements, Angus has accumulated hundreds of hours of face-to-face time with a wide array of clientele, in both group and 1-on-1 sessions.
Being extremely passionate about physical activity and structured exercise, Angus is dedicated to improving health outcomes and working towards goals through individualised and evidence-based exercise programs.
While enjoying working with clients with all pathologies, Angus’ key interests include cardiovascular health, falls prevention, and maintaining independence as we age.
Angus’ overall goal is to best manage and improve his clients’ health and wellbeing through implementing and communicating effective exercise interventions and lifestyle modification strategies.
Outside of the clinic, Angus is an avid cricketer and runner, and he loves his music.
Sam is a Certified Practising member of Speech Pathology Australia, having completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Speech Pathology at LaTrobe University in 2024. Sam has experienced a range of Speech Pathology settings, including; community paediatric clinics, voice clinics, specialist schools and hospitals.
Sam is passionate about helping others to achieve their goals, and facilitate a positive allied health experience. She strives to create a safe space for her clients and have a meaningful impact on their lives through Speech Pathology.
Sam enjoys working with children and their families to provide evidence-based practice. She takes a special interest in adult swallowing and communication. She is a strong advocate for life-long learning and hopes to continue her professional development throughout her career.
